COVID 19 pandemic has changed the lifestyle of everyone around the world. The lockdown and curfew has changed everything in a person’s life. Working space, living space, public space have changed a lot , work from home , sanitizer, mask became the new normal to us.
It is no secret that the restaurant industry has been battered by the pandemic.
The spread of COVID-19, and the many limitations it has imposed, have had a profound influence on the enjoyable social experience that once was a dine-out culture. When more diners opt to stay at home and more eateries search for ways to continue serving customers, it's a move that's also led to a big pivot to delivery. Here arises the role of cloud kitchen, a model that chefs and restaurateurs are embracing, and diners are patronizing, whether they realise it or not. Delivery services, however, continued, and dining out became more and more confined to people’s homes. Even for delivery services, both the customers and the delivery boy would be wearing mask and after the delivery the customers are automatically tended to use sanitizer not only because of the protocols but also the fear of being affected or spreading corona virus.
Hygiene and safety plays an important role in market spaces. According to the COVID 19 protocol, time to time sanitization, social distancing, mask became compulsory. This could be seen in every restaurants in Bangalore.

In Meenakshi mall, it has posters in all the corners on the walls that says the place is sanitised and have also made the markers for people to stand so that the six feet social distancing is maintained. A thermal scanner and sanitizing machine can be seen at the entrance. There are also posters on the walls to spread the awareness of the COVID 19 protocol that is to be maintained for the safe and free movement.
In a Kerala restaurant situated near Hulimavu lake named Ammachi Kada , which is famous among the Kerala students and worker of Bannergatta have adapted to the new pandemic situation. We could see that the walls are painted and are decorated to create an atmosphere of hygiene and cleanliness. A wash basin is kept in front of the hotel with a sanitizer attached to it. The tables are rearranged in such a way that six feet distancing is maintained. They bought new tables and chairs which will be cleaned by the staffs time to time.
The lockdown and COVID 19 protocol have changed the society. The international lockdown and the successful suspension of civic and commercial operation across countries has put a spotlight on how our economic, social and political structures work and forced a global debate to begin on how they will need to improve. From the intricately interwoven existence of globalized supply chains and manufacturing infrastructure to just-in-time deliveries to supermarkets, Covid-19 has exposed the fragile foundations on which much of what we take for granted in the developed world is constructed.
