Nutritious food diet has always been a concern for most of the rural areas since India is a developing country where many people are suffering to have three meals a day. It becomes a question for many on how to fight against COVID 19 situation in the Indian scenario. To keep the pandemic under control, the government as well as the citizens are very keen in including nutritious food in their diet.
It is mandatory to attain and maintain good nutritional status to have a healthy body in order to produce a good immune system. Nutritional status of individuals has been used as resilience towards destabilization during this COVID-19 pandemic. Optimal nutrition and dietary nutrient intake impact the immune system, therefore the only sustainable way to survive in current context is to strengthen the immune system. This has been in the mind of the people for long which made most of the people to consume vitamin rich fruits and medicines like vitamin C and zincovit in their daily diet.it is scientifically proved that these vitamins can increase the immune system of the body which can make the body more stable enough to defeat virus.

All these vitamin tables became a part of their diet. This has helped many people to have a proper immune system. Governments have made immense contributions to increase the immune diet of the people by various policies. People are asked to go for quarantine if they are having a direct contact with the affected people or have travelled from one state to another. This is a crucial time for the people in quarantine mentally as well as physically. As a person who went through quarantine multiple times, I can understand how much effort, government had put in to boost the immunity of the person going through quarantine. The local bodies of the government will supply all the nutritious and immune boosting medicine to their home in order to make the person healthy enough. They have supplied vitamin tablets and have also supplied tablets from homeopathy.
There are also other policies which government reinforced during the pandemic like Indira canteen to provide food packets free of cost to the poor and needy in the wake of the lockdown. They have scheduled the timings to maintain protocol. The Karnataka chief minister B S Yediyurappa had said food packets would be provided to the poor and needy with the help of some organisations through the Canteens and had sought the help of everyone in this regard. Although these policies are followed it is still not enough for many.
