The pandemic did not just change the way we live but also the way we earn and eat. A lot of people lost their jobs and means of livelihood but for some, this pandemic brought new opportunities to launch their passion into a full-fledged startup.

With the spike in the number of home bakers and cooks, food entrepreneurship saw a rise in the lockdown days because when everything was closed, the kitchen space was always available.

While food outlets suffered the most during the pandemic because of the changing dining habits and restrictions, some new restaurants are thriving their way out.

One such example of a Food enterprise in Bhopal is The Lala’s Way. Bhopal is not just known for its lakes but also for its mouth-watering street food.

The Lala’s Way is another multi-cuisine outlet adding to the plethora of street food outlets in Bhopal.

The Outlet was set up during the month of October, at the time when the people were still frightened by Coronavirus. Despite that, this outlet gained its share of popularity quite soon in Shahpura, the street food hub of Lake City Bhopal.

Famous for its Hyderabadi Chicken dum Biryani and Chicken Kathi rolls, this multi-cuisine outlet has very well established itself.

For a food outlet to succeed in no time during a global pandemic requires a knowledge of the food industry. The owner talks about his experience and journey of being a chef in one of the most famous restaurants in Hyderabad and how it inspired him to open his own food outlet in his own city, Bhopal. Pandemic according to him was a great opportunity to invest and take the risk because there was a lot of time to plan and strategize everything from choosing a place to marketing the food which wouldn’t have been possible during the normal working days.
