The Pandemic channel

As the world has been stuck to get back to its feet and fighting with the pandemic, there were some other sides for the pandemic where many people started to do their work and especially their foods for themselves. Many people needed to cook their food since there was no domestic help. This created the situation to cook their foods. Among these, there were few, who wanted to employ their time in the right manner. Concerning this, a person whom I know wanted to earn by starting a YouTube channel. This channel named Food_n_Friends was started for earning some money in the lockdown period.

They learned how to cook. It was very interesting to know that they learnt to cook different

varieties for making videos on their channel. Along with that, they started to post the pictures of the food they make simultaneously on the Instagram page which they created only to promote the channel. Before they shoot a video, they learn that recipe from the elder person from the family and they try it once before shooting it. They prepare the ingredients and place them ready for making the video. Once they are done with the dish, the picture goes to the Instagram page and the video gets uploaded after editing.

Three videos a week is their goal and they followed it. One of the members says, “I am very interested in cooking and started to learn more recipes and tried new dishes along with my mom”, this pandemic has made many people learn a lot of new things in their life. In the case of cooking, more people would have started to cook for themselves and also there were many entrepreneurs who started home baking in this period.
